With the “Dynamic ESA” suspension, BMW has developed a very good, future-oriented suspension that permanently adapts to the road surface and the respective driving situation.
With our WESA-Dynamic technology, we offer the option of customising this suspension to your personal requirements. This takes into account the rider’s weight, the additional load and the intended use, resulting in customised damper characteristics and adjustment.
In the standard version, the shock absorber of the BMW M 1000 R has far too much rebound damping. We have therefore reduced this in our conversion and also optimised the compression damping.
The WESA-Dynamic ESA QRR shock absorber also offers the option of manually adjusting the compression damping in the high and low speed range. This results in an additional adjustment option which significantly increases the adjustment range compared to standard.
These optimisations result in significantly better handling and more precise handling of the M 1000 R, which contributes to a safer ride.
All the experience and development steps of our racing team have been directly incorporated into the development and adjustment of the shock absorber, which is customised to the rider.
