In the rear, we succeeded in realising a pleasant and comfortable ride with our Ecoline type 540 suspension struts by adjusting the negative spring travel as well as the rebound damping.
The vehicle now works with the driver and no longer against him.
There was also a need to adjust the fork, especially the response to short, hard jolts was not convincing in the original. Here we used our proven solution for the Harley Davidson Touring models: ZERO friction fork springs with adapted damping also work simply outstanding for the Freewheeler.
